If you need a break from the horrors, I could figure out a flashback or two to play around in.
All good films have at least one.

[ A good way to keep someone from breaking in the dark place; a small change in scenery even if it isn't "real." ]

As tempting as the offer is, more than a few of my flashbacks are... less than pleasent.
Unless you have one of yours that's more cheerful?

Why's that?

I can make a few parties if you like.
See how the FBC likes to get wild and crazy.

[ There is a lack of truth in them, but so long as a suspension of disbelief is held - and the thought they could have happened remains - then all is possible. ]

I have been known to enjoy a karaoke machine.
Not that our office parties really ever got wild, but it was a nice break from work, at least.

That sounds like a sight worth seeing.
A nice break - that's what I'm hoping for.

We're making something extraordinary here.
That doesn't mean we have to lock ourselves in and not reward ourselves as we go along.

We truly are, I absolutely believe that.
I've spent such a long time only focusing on work, I forgot what it was like to reward myself.

I've been told I'm a decent singer!

Term of affection.
You don't mind, right?

But that does beg the question!
Should I tell you when it's a term of endearment or just saying your name when we're together?

I'll try only to blush when we're around each other, then.

You can absolutely tell me.
So I get a better idea what sort of conversation we're having.
I'm not the best at telling difference in tones.

But that'll be hard.

I'll always try to tell you what tone I'm using.

Not that I'm complaining, of course. It's just new for me.

I don't want you to get so used to it that the novelty wears off, but I do hope that you get accustomed to it.

Right, exactly.
There are some inevitabilities to fight against, but this one, this one can be ours to hold onto.

Having something that just you and I share.

In fact, we already have so much!

This feeling.
The care.
The creating.
The building.
The work that we're doing!

All of it! It's ours. Together.
No one can take it from us.

You make it all sound almost...
Romantic?
In the classical sense, I mean. That genre of discovery in the early 1900s.
All about creation, the mysteries of nature, scientific innovation.
